Chorizo Fresh Dinner Sausage

Sit down and enjoy quality heritage, Alberta-raised pork in a fresh dinner sausage. Large Black pork brings succulent fat while maintaining a higher meat-to-fat ratio. Our chorizo dinner sausages are GLUTEN-FREE. Our pigs are raised outdoors with access to pastures to forage and root. They are fed a custom feed designed for Large Blacks; as always, our feed is soy and corn-free and sourced with local grains whenever possible.

Our pigs are processed at a local, provincially (Alberta) inspected abattoir. In doing so, we can offer you the best cuts and custom choices of Large Black pork.

For individual package orders, please fill out ORDER FORM. Bulk boxes are available in 5-pound, 10-pound and 15-pound boxes filled with vacuum packages with six sausages per package. Please let us know if there are any allergy concerns. All products are gluten-free.

How do the animals live?

Hogs & Horns Homestead raises all of our animals’ hormone and steroid free. In doing so, we can raise them in an outdoor pasture setting, which allows them to live a stress-free life with plenty of exercise, fresh air, sunshine, pasture, and the ability to forage.

What’s The Major Difference In Taste & Quality Of Our Meat?

Our Swine’s Diet

Provided access to Alberta’s natural weeds, grasses, and foliage. We try to avoid any GMO, soy-based products for our swine. They receive high-quality custom feed, hay and when season permitting pasture.
