Our heritage cross pigs come in various shapes, sizes and mixes. Whenever possible, we will provide the background of the parents. Though we are moving away from muddled mixes, we will continue to have 50/50 crosses available, each backed by purebred parents and known lineages. At this time, we do not offer cross-bred boars.
Mangalitsa x Ossabaw Island Hog $300

50% Mangalitsa and 50% Ossabaw Island Hog. Sire was a purebred registered blonde Mangalitsa. Mother is a purebred, registered Ossabaw Island Hog. One gilt is available. To breed or finish growing out for butcher. This is a fantastic option if you’d like to incorporate the unique flavours of the Ossabaw Island Hog meat but want a slightly faster grow-out time.

50% Ossabaw Island Hog and 50% Large Black. Sire is a purebred, registered Ossabaw Island Hog, Mother is a purebred, registered Large Black. This litter is exceptionally friendly. We expect them to have excellent hybrid vigour and would be an excellent option to add to a mixed breed breeding herd or to be grown out for meat.

Ginger is a fantastic mother. She has farrowed several times with us, with litter sizes of 6-8 piglets. She is a Large Black x Kunekune that weighs 400-450 pounds. She does best when being bred back to a boar the same size or larger than her.
